Most coal mines are located in areas with complicated hydrogeological conditions in China. In the process of mining, coal roof sandstone water flowing fractured zone and caving zone with the development of coal mining, coal seam roof above the confined water, diving into the mining area or the infiltration of water flowing fractured zone through the fault zone, which caused water inrush. At the same time, the heterogeneity of the water rich distribution of water filled aquifers also increases the complexity of water control work. Therefore, on the roof of coal mine hydrogeological characteristics and water rich research area, according to the results of local coal mine water prevention and control measures and formulate solutions, has very important significance to the coal mine production safety and production efficiency. This paper takes the first mining area of Meihuajing coal mine as the background, by analyzing and dealing with the data of coal mine exploration and hydrogeological exploration, the geological conditions and hydrogeological conditions of mine field in Meihuajing are studied, the main aquifers affected by the first mining area are analyzed. Determine the calculation parameters of water inflow, and calculate and predict the water inflow. Using transient electromagnetic prospecting method, the water filling conditions and fault zones of the first mining face are explored. Study on the development of the two coal seam roof caving height, safety, water rich area. Through the above research results, the risk of water inrush from the roof of coal seam is evaluated, and the suggestions for preventing and controlling water in the first mining area are put forward. This study is based on the analysis of hydrogeological conditions and water rich zones in the first mining area of Meihuajing coal mine. It provides a theoretical basis for the prevention and control of water in coal mine to a certain extent, and has good economic and social benefits.
