With the development of the society and increasing focus on environmental protection,social requirements especially VOC standards on the performance of the coating is becoming stricter and stricter.Thus,the coating which is environmentally friendly is the important object of study.It was also indicated that the importance of waterborne coatings.In many researches,the stability of waterborne resin coating is good,whereas,the anticorrosion quality experiences a sharp decline.So,this paper is aimed at fabricating a stable waterborne epoxy emulsion and improving the anticorrosion properties of the coating at the same time.First of all,the stable acrylic modified waterborne epoxy emulsion was synthesized.By experimental analysis,the performance of waterborne epoxy emulision reached the best by selecting propylene glycol methyl ether and n-butyl alcohol with a ratio of 2:1 as the solvent,the E-12 epoxy resin and solvent mass ratio was 1:1.5,and the the resin monomer content was 26.67% with 8% content BPO as initiator,the neutralization degree was 110% with the temperature and PH value was 110℃ and 8 respectively.Therefore,the basic performance of coating is excellent,which the electrochemical properties and contact angle test was performed well.It finally confirmed that the graft was successful by infrared characterization.Then,the modification of phosphoric acid/acrylic monomers double was used to fabricate stable waterborne epoxy emulsion.By infrared characterization,it proved that the phosphate reaction of epoxy resin was successful.When the phosphate content was 0.35 g(1.2%),the preparation of waterborne epoxy resin which has the best electrochemical performance and basic mechanical properties of the coating reached the best performance.Finally,the preparation of silicone/acrylic monomers double modified waterborne epoxy resin has been proved that when the siloxane content was 5% of the monomer,the emulsion was stable,the basic performance of coating has been improved,and thet hermal stability of coating was enhanced.Through electrochemical and contact Angle test,it confirmed that the coating corrosion current density decreased with the introduction of siloxane,and the contact Angle increased more than 30 °,especially,the anticorrosive performance of the coating was improved notably.
