Research On Plugging Profile In Heavy Oil Horizontal Well

The subject is carried out for heavy oil horizontal Wells on high water content problem.Because of the complicated water outlet,the mechanism of horizontal wells and the special completion method,the water shutoff technology of horizontal well facing many complicated problems and challenges.Therefore,It has important practical significance that the technology on plugging profile in horizontal wells can solve the horizontal well production problem.Investigating Xianhe oil production plant for heavy oil production block,We analysed the problems existed in heavy oil production of Xianhe oil production plant.Some improvement suggestions were put forward for all the plugging technology.The measures to control existing problems in heavy oil horizontal wells were proposed.Two studies were carried out to research water shutoff profile controlling agent for heavy oil horizontal wells.They are the research of formulation of the gel for the deep water shutoff agent,and the optimization of the middle and sealing water shutoff agent.Through the investigation and analysis,three slugs were divided to water plugging.Deep plugging agent adopted gel plugging;central plugging agent used superfine cement composite gel particle plugging;The sealing agent was grade G cement composite gel particle plugging.The composite plugging agent with high strength,good temperature resistance,and long time of aging were obtained by experiments.This agent was specially developed for sealing gas channel.
