Tungsten alloy has been widely used in civil industry and military industry due to its unique properties.With the development of modern technology,tungsten alloy has gradually substituted depleted uranium alloy,which was used to make armor piercing shell.For this reason,now it plays a crucial role in military industry.Under this circumstance,more studies concerned need to be conducted.However in relevant studies,replicate tests are difficult to handle because of its rarity and surroundings.To deal with this problem,computer aided software could be of great use.In this article 93 WNiFe alloy would be our study object.Using finite element simulation software and digital image processing technology,the mechanical property and Metallurgical structure of it would be analyzed in the high temperature tensile test,which offers a new thought and method for its studies.In the high temperature tensile test,electrohydraulic servo tester and high temperature heating furnace would be utilized to heat the alloy,metallographic microscope and field scan electron microscope to collect the data.With all the above,we have concluded:(1)With the increase of temperature,the intensity of tungsten alloy decreases gradually.The regulations of tensile strength and break strength change are identical.The change of its yield strength is mild;(2)With the increase of temperature,its ductility transforms from high to low,which reaches the best at 400 degrees;Two finite element analysis softwares,Ansys/Ls-dyna and HyperMesh,are used to do analog simulation.Through the comparison and analysis we have found:(1)The strength of them are identical,the deviation of which is reasonable.(2)Mock fracture would be analyzed according to failure criterion.The state of the tensile fracture is simulated and it is found that the change of fracture shrinkage appeals to that in the experiment,from high to low.(3)The tensile mechanical properties at 900 degrees are predicted,which appeals to mechanical propertities changes tendency basically.In this study,digital image processing technology is applied to analyze the metallurgical structure of tungsten alloy,and Matlab to deal with toolbox.Through the improvement of watershed segmentation and the use of rectangular fitting method,the tungsten particles in metallurgical structure have been shaped.Ir is find that its Macroscopic plastic change is the consequence of both tungsten particles and splice.To sum up,finite element analysis softwares and image processing technology are of great use in tungsten alloy mechanical property analysis.On one hand,the experiment is more effective and the data is more accurate;on the other hand,it saves a lot of energy and money,which makes the study more economically.
