Shearer is one of the most important equipment in the mechanization and modernization of coal mine production,it is a large complex system,which integrates mechanical,hydraulic and electrical.Shearer driving device is an important part of the shearer,it is closely related to the efficiency of coal mining.Shearer driving device is the frequent fault zone,especially the gear and bearing.It is of great significance for the safety production of shearer to detect and diagnose the driving device.In this paper,according to the "drum coal mining machine type inspection specification",summed up the shearer transmission device test requirements,to determine the vibration cutting part of gear and bearing,cutting department gearbox oil temperature,vibration traction gear and bearing,gear oil pool temperature transmission system,cutting motor voltage and current,traction motor voltage and current,cylinder speed as main detection parameters,and identified the location of the installation method and the parameters of the sensor detection.To the shearer gear and bearing fault,established improved BP neural network structure for fault diagnosis,selected the characteristic parameters of time domain and frequency domain.In this paper,the detection and fault diagnosis system of shearer driving device is designed.The hardware of the system is composed of sensor,conditioning circuit and data acquisition device.Based on the graphical programming language LabVIEW2011 as the development platform,combined with the improved BP neural network,the detection and diagnosis software is developed,which realizes the state detection and fault diagnosis of shearer cutting unit and traction transmission device.The static characteristics of the system are analyzed by experiments.The results show that the static characteristics of the system are good,which can meet the requirements of the shearer cutting section.And the function of each module of the system is verified by experiments,the results show that the detection module can be analyzed and implemented on the transmission device of shearer the measured parameters of the data storage,display and other functions,the fault diagnosis module to fault diagnosis of transmission device of shearer gear and bearing.
