| Over these years,environment,energy and economic growth are the three major problems in the development of China as well as the common problems in the development of all humanity.Since reform and opening up,China’s economy has developed rapidly and the overall living standards of the Chinese has been greatly improved.However,when the economy developed rapidly,the ecological environment was severely polluted,the stock of non-renewable energy increasingly collapsed,and problems among environment,energy and the sustainable and healthy economic growth urgently need to be solved.Under the circumstances of China’s economic development,the scientific and effective coordination of environment and policies in resource and economic growth are particularly important so as to maintain our country’s healthy and sustainable development in economy.In this paper,first of all,three factors including the environmental quality and pollution intensity and energy are introduced into economic growth model to discusses effects of those three factors mentioned above on the long-term equilibrium economic growth by analyzing the optimal growth path of economic growth model.Then based on the constant elasticity of substitution(CES)production function,energy-environment-economy(3E)economic growth model was established to discuss the relation between fossil energy and renewable energy under the condition of the maximization of economic benefit and give concrete steps,analyzing the factors influencing economic growth under the condition of the maximization of social benefit and exploring the effective measures to achieve sustained economic growth.The conclusion drawn was as follows :Firstly,in the realistic social situation,economic growth is restricted by many factors,for instance environment purification ability itself has a promoting effect on economic growth and energy production,and the stronger the resource recycling rate is,the greater the economic growth rate becomes.But environment purification capacity and its resources pollution intensity depend on the difference among the pollution index,discount rate,and environment purification ability.The pollution intensity is different according to the difference between discount rate and environment purification ability.Secondly,under the condition of the maximization of economic benefit,the ratio of the input of fossil energy and the input of renewable energy is decided by the distribution coefficient and fossil-renewable energy coefficient of elasticity of substitution.In the situation of social welfare maximization,environmental quality and sustainable economic growth change in the same direction.That is to say,if the environment quality improves,economic growth is likely to increase correspondingly.In theory,it is possible to pursue both economic growth and environmental quality.Thirdly,the innovation of this article is to put environment quality and environment pollution intensity into economic growth model,and then analyze and discuss the effects of the environment purification capacity,resource regeneration rate and the level of technology substitution and other parameters on the economic growth rate.Based on constant substitution elasticity of production function,energy-environment-economy(3E)economic growth model was established,and then discussed respectively the proportion of the fossil energy inputs and renewable energy inputs under the condition of the maximization of economic benefit,and whether environmental quality and economic growth can change in the same direction under the condition of the maximization of social benefit.Finally,combined with related conclusions,a series of policies and suggestions are given. |
