Land is the platform of land ecosystem,which is the foundation of human society.With the rapid increase of population,limited land resources have been unable to meet the needs of human infinite expansion.Much farmland and forest land areas transformed into construction land.Soil pollution has resulted in a series of land ecological problems,which seriously affected the regional sustainable development.The land ecological security can not only be used to describe the healthy and sustainable development of the land system,but also be used to describe the ability of the land ecosystem to provide support for social development.Therefore,the research of land ecological security is not only a multidisciplinary research field,but also provides a reference for maintaining global security and regional ecological security.Although the research of land ecological security has continues focus,but those researches concentrated at the level of province,city and county,which cannot reflect the distribution of land ecological security.Without social and economic data support,using landscape ecology method to evaluate the land ecological security cannot explain the reason that changes in the pattern.Township is the fourth administrative unit in China.The evaluation of land ecological security is relatively few at the township scale.Therefore,this paper selected township as an evaluation unit,using GIS,RS and RS technology and raster dataset to evaluate the land ecological security in Ebinur Lake Basin.Take the advantages of multi-source data,to realize land ecological security accessment scientifically in Ebinur Lake Basin.Therefore,this paper determines 1998,2011 and 2014 as the research year,and GIS,RS and RS as the research technologies.At the same time,combine the natural geographical features and socioeconomic status of the Ebinur Lake Basin,and built the PSR-NSE model.In the PSR-NSE model,25 indicators were selected from the natural,social and economic.These indicators can respect the situation of regional land ecological security in the Ebinur Lake Basin.The land ecological security status of the Ebinur Lake Basin was evaluated from the perspective of time and space.The Specific conclusions are as follows:(1)From 1998 to 2014,the areas of land use/land cover types have obviously changed inEbinur Lake Basin.Among them,the areas of farmland and construction land continued to increase.Farmland has increased 3659.09 km2,and the amplitude was up to 154.45%.Construction land has increased 154.16 km2,and the amplitude was up to 143.93%.The areas of forest-grass land increased mildly,but the areas of waterbody showed reduction.The areas of desert and salinized land were up to 60% of the Ebinur Lake Basin.All of these showed that the land eco-system was not well,and we need to improve the ecological environment in the Ebinur Lake Basin.(2)The Kuitun City,Dushanzi,Wusu city,Jinghe Town,etc,which located administrative center area had some resource pressures,and the value of pressure security was around 0.50.The value of pressure security in other towns was about 0.70.But the value of response security has opposite phenomenon from pressure security.The value of response security in the administrative center were more than 0.65,and the other towns were nearly 0.45.The value of land ecological security around 0.60 with mildly trends in the past16 years,all villages and towns were at a critical safety level in the Ebinur Lake Basin.But,the value of land ecological security in administrative center was higher than the edge towns.(3)The land ecological security pattern was extremely uneven in past 16 years,the areas of grade I and II were mainly in Ebinur Lake,Sayram Lake,Jinghe oasis,Kuitun river oasis and ALATO mountains.The areas of grade III,IV and V were mainly in oasis and desert ecotone region,the desert area locate in the East and southeast of Ebinur Lake,the Gobi area in the Western of Jinghe oasis,and the South and west of Wenquan County.(4)From 1998 to 2014,the land ecological security situation has been gradually improved in the Ebinur Lake Basin.The improvement areas were mainly concentrated in the oasis and desert ecotone region,the Bortala River,the southern of Jinghe oasis,and the southern of Kuitun oasis.But the land ecological security in some local areas was deterioration,those regions mainly distributed in the northern of the Alataw Mountains and Boluokenu Mountains.In this study,we recommend increased attention on regional ecological protection and sustainable development for villages and towns.
