Adhesive bonding of optical elements is a common method of making optical devices or optical systems.The quality and performance of optical components affect the image quality of the optical system.The match of refractive index?RI?between the adhesive and the adhesive elements is significant because the interface of the light scattering phenomenon will affect the image quality.The RI of the adhesive carried out a series of adjustment work to obtain the RI match adhesives.However,commonly used optical adhesives cannot be placed in the air atmosphere for a long time because the commercial glue is usually sensitive to moister and oxygen in the air,which makes it inconvenient for industrial applications.Moreover,dismantling processes is frequently required for adjusting the place of optical elements or eliminate the air bubbles in cured glue.The process was usually performed by soaking in an organic solvent,which is harmful to the operator as well as part of optical parts.To overcome the mentioned-above obstacles,In this paper,with the composition and structure flexibility of the multilayer assembly membrane,introduced the polymeric complex and poly?4-styrenesulfonate??PSS?,respectively.PSS was used for highly RI species with both benzene ring and sulfur element.The prepared Layer-by-Layer assembled adhesive film have a certain refractive index which can be put in the air for a long period of time,the adhesive film can bond optical elements under the action of water and pressure,and can be dismantled by immersion in water.?1?The adhesive films containing CaCO3 and Na2SiO3 were prepared with reference to the literature,and the prepared polymer adhesive films with the refractive index ranging from 1.5332 to 1.5450 and 1.5171 to 1.5181 were obtained,and the adhesive strength was measured after adhesion under water and pressure,the value was between 2.65±0.57 MPa to 3.19±0.72 MPa and 2.77±0.85 MPa to 4.37±0.89 Mpa,respectively.?2?In order to change the refractive index of the polymer film in a wider range and to improve its adhesive strength,PSS was introduced into the multilayer assembled adhesive film.Experimental results shows that the introduction of different content of PSS can adjust the RI of adhesive films in the range of 1.5181 to 1.5792.Adhesive strength was also measured after adhesion under water and pressure,the value was between 3.92±1.39 MPa to 6.95±1.74 MPa.The RI of the multilayer assembly adhesive film prepared in the aqueous phase is nearly to the coronal glass?1.5191.548?and the birefringence glass?1.5301.559?.Suitable for bonding refractive index in the corresponding range of optical parts.The prepared Layer-byLayer assembled adhesive film can complete bonding process in the presence of water and pressure,and dismantling can be accomplished by soaking again in water.Therefore,the Layer-by-Layer assembly adhesive films are candicate to be used in the field of optical and other bonding areas in the future.
