Carbide slag is the industrial calcium carbide as raw material,access to acetylene after the remaining rich in calcium hydroxide residue.Carbide slag without direct disposal will block the river,polluting water resources and then endanger the fishery,long-term accumulation of land resources are occupied,affecting the surrounding environment.At present,the recovery of calcium carbide in the purification of carbide slag,to achieve the use of carbide slag resources into the field of research hotspots.Many people have proposed a variety of ways to recover the use of carbide slag,such as hydrocyclone,but the existence of a longer production cycle,higher cost and other issues.This paper proposes a new way to separate and purify calcium hydroxide by cyclone separator equipment,and realize the resource utilization of carbide slag.The main research contents are as follows:(1)Based on the qualitative and quantitative analysis of calcium carbide slag and the distribution of Ca(OH)2 in the particle size interval,it is determined that the separation method of cyclone separator can effectively purify Ca(OH)2 in carbide slag and determine the critical particle size of separation was 80 ?m.(2)The task group has designed the cyclone separator and determined the working conditions : 15 m /s-30 m / s.The initial design of the separator structure parameters are as follows: diameter 1760 mm,cylinder height 1716 mm,inlet size 704×352 mm,exhaust pipe diameter 688 mm,bottom flow diameter544 mm,exhaust pipe insertion depth 1080 mm,cone angle13 °.Through the check of the inlet speed and the critical particle size,verify the rationality of the design,(3)Based on the structural design parameters of the cyclone separator,the flow field distribution of the separator was analyzed by Fluent software,and the flow field characteristics were revealed.The results show that the cyclone separator designed in this paper has a stable flow field and reliable performance,but the structure of the exhaust pipe must be optimized.(4)The optimal parameters of the exhaust pipe and the deflector impeller are calculated and calculated by comparing the pre-optimization and optimized models.The results show that the diversion impeller device is possible to effectively reduce the pressure drop.With the increase of the number of guide vanes,the rotational velocity in the cyclone is reduced,the dynamic pressure loss is further reduced,the number of guide vanes increases,the rotational velocity in the cyclone is reduced.When the blade length is 880 mm,and the number of blades is 6,the cyclone separator is better.
