In recent years,people pay more and more attention to the problem of air pollution,volatile organic compounds(VOCs)as an important source of pollution,It is very urgent to control and governance.In this paper,the degradation of waste gas by low temperature plasma combined with biotrickling filter was studied,It provides technical guidance for the treatment of volatile gas and has important application value.In this paper,two kinds of discharge modes,such as double dielectric barrier discharge and dielectric barrier discharge,were used to degrade benzene.The results show that the removal efficiency of benzene is higher than that of double dielectric barrier discharge,but its energy efficiency is low,and the temperature increases rapidly.The industrial experiment was carried out to select the double dielectric barrier discharge reactor,and the optimal reaction parameters were determined: peak voltage18 k V,electrode spacing 5 mm.Based on the results of laboratory research,Study on the composition and content of volatile gas of an enterprise,for the sewage tank volatile waste gas component characteristics and large variation,containing impurities,double dielectric barrier discharge equipment management VOCs test of mixed,the effects of residence time and discharge element spacing of VOCs degradation efficiency,and the degradation products and mechanism analysis.The results show that with the increase of residence time and discharge unit spacing,the removal rate of exhaust gas is increased,Comprehensive removal of load and efficiency factors,when the residence time is 0.5s,the discharge unit spacing is 0.4m,it is more suitable.After the degradation of the plasma,a part of the waste gas is converted into water soluble substances,such as alcohols,esters,aldehydes,etc.,the biodegradability of exhaust gas is enhanced.After the optimization of the double dielectric barrier discharge,When the exhaust gas concentration is 600mg /m~3,the removal efficiency can reach 85%.In order to further improve the treatment effect and achieve the discharge standard of organic waste gas,the industrial experiment of VOCs hybrid filter was carried out.The results showed that the biotrickling filter has low treatment efficiency and poor impact resistance.The initial concentration was higher than 220mg/m~3,which could not meet the discharge standard 120mg/m~3,the highest removal rate was 64.2%.And the coupling process to the exhaust gas removal rate of 95%,exhaust gas concentrationbelow 1250 mg / m~3,the total hydrocarbon emissions standards can be achieved.The soluble byproducts produced after the plasma treatment are more biodegradable,and the degradation efficiency of the biofilter in the coupling process is improved by 8%.
