In recent years,multi-functional exterior decorative materials gradually was used to replace the real stone building exterior wall tiles because of its excellent decorative performance and safety performance. However, the domestic production of exterior paint stability and weatherability is poor,it is difficult to replace the real stone materials. Therefore, the development of multi-functional external wall decoration materials with good weatherability, strong stain resistance and low cost has become a challenging and practical issue.Polyacrylate emulsion is widely used in exterior architectural coatings due to its good film-forming properties, good tackiness, strong corrosion resistance and low cost. However, some shortcomings of polyacrylates limiting its scope of application, such as poor stain resistance, poor compatibility with organic solvents and poor decorative. As a result, the researchers have done a lot of work on polyacrylate emulsion modification,in particular the construction of a hydrophobic surface with a“lotus effect”.This paper based on the structure of core-shell emulsion,a core-shell type fluorine-containing acrylate emulsion?BMHD?,a self-cleaning function of Ti O2-Si O2/BMHD composites, and MPS modified BMHD emulsion were prepared by semi-continuous seed emulsion polymerization. The structure and morphology of the emulsion, the surface morphology of the emulsion film, the heat resistance and hydrophobicity were analyzed by FT-IR,19F NMR,TEM,AFM,TGA,water contact angle?WCA?,zeta potential and particle size analyzer carried out the characterization and testing. This paper consists of 6 chapters, the chapters are as follows:Thefirstchaptersummarizestheresearchprogressof fluorine-containing acrylic resin, inorganic nanometer material modified fluorine-containing acrylic resin, organosilane modified acrylic resin and the significance of this thesis, the main research content and innovation. The second chapter mainly introduces the experimental methods, instruments, experimental steps and sample characterization methods used in the experiment. In the third chapter, the effects of n-butyl acrylate?BA?,MMA,Hp A as the core monomer, dodecafluoroheptyl methacrylate?DFMA?,BMHD latex was prepared by semi-continuous seed emulsion polymerization. We discussed the influence of emulsifier contents, initiator contents, amount of fluorine monomer and reaction temperature on the properties of the emulsion. The results showed that the that the optimum emulsifier and initiator were4wt.%and 0.4wt.%respectively,and the amount of fluorine-containing monomer was 15wt.%,the WCA of core-shell fluoroacrylate emulsion film can reached 113°.In the fourth chapter, the inorganic nanometer material Ti O2-Si O2 were doped into the fluorine-containing acrylate emulsion by physical blending, and the inorganic nano-materials were prepared. The effect of inorganic nano-materials on the properties of the emulsion was studied. The effects of nano-particles on the properties of the emulsion and mechanism of hydrophobicity were investigated. When the addition amount of Ti O2-Si O2particles is 0.3wt.%,the water contact angle of the emulsion film can reached135°,and it shows good hydrophobic performance. In the fifth chapter, the silicone-modified fluoroacrylate acrylate emulsion was prepared by grafting the siloxane?MPS-BMHD?.The effect of the siloxane content on the emulsion properties was studied. When the contents of the siloxane was 5wt.%,water contact angle of MPS-BMHD film can reached 155°,it is superhydrophobic material and it shows good self-cleaning performance. The sixth chapter summarized the conclusions obtained in the research,at the same time, the development prospect was proposed as well.
