Turbomachinery is widely used in the fields of national economy,such as aerospace,energy,water conservancy,petrochemical industry and so on,of which the impeller is the core part.The processing quality of impeller determines the performance of the machine,and the integral impeller has been increasingly applied to turbo machinery due to its high performance,high efficiency and high strength etc.However,the processing of integral impeller is a difficult problem in manufacturing due to the thin-walled structure,poor machining reachability and so onThis paper takes the NC machining of integral impeller as the study object,the aspects of process planning,tool path generation,processing procedure,virtual simulation machining and machining parameter optimization are researched.The main work is as follows:(1)The machining process of the integral impeller is planned,including processing stage division,fixture design,and tool selection,machining allowance and cutting parameters,which make the necessary preparations for integral impeller tool path generation.(2)The tool path generation method of integral impeller processing is researched.The constraints of tool step are calculated,calculation method of row spacing and the cutter location vector are given.The machining of integral impeller flow channel is programmed using professional software MAX-PAC,the processing program and data files are obtained.(3)The machining simulation based on VERICUT of integral impeller is studied,the problem of programs is found in simulation results.As the program has been modified,the accuracy of programs is improved;also the feasibility of the programs is verified.(4)The optimization method of cutting parameters is studied,the optimization objective function is established,and the optimization algorithms are carried on through computer programming,which determines the optimized value of cutting parameters.Meanwhile,the CAM method for the optimization of cutting parameters is studied.The cutting parameters are optimized by applying this method.The programs after optimization are applied in production,which achieve significant effects and prove the feasibility of the optimization method.
