Polyester industry occupies an important position in the chemical industry.The esterification reactor and the pre polymerization reactor are the main equipment in the process.For esterification reactor,the power number of the esterification reactor was studied by using the D= 180 mm EKT impeller in the flat bottom cylindrical stirred tank of T=280 mm.The Np of EKT agitator was obtained under turbulent conditions.At the same time,under the condition of the Reynolds number from 54000 to 135000,the gas holdup from 0%to 6.45%,experiment studies cycle flow number.The relationship between the number of circulating flow,the gas holdup and the Reynolds number is obtained.The numerical simulation is carried out by using FLUENT software.The simulation and experimental data are compared and analyzed.The research analyzes the characteristics of two-dimensional flow field.The simulation results show the numerical results are similar to the experimental results.For pre polymerization reactor,experiment uses D=214 mm leaf rake stirring impeller to research power number with Reynolds number from 0 to 160000 in the T=280 mm oval bottom cylindrical stirred tank.The power curve equation of different regions is obtained by fitting.The results show that the power curve of laminar flow in the double logarithmic coordinate is a straight line with a slope of-1,and the transition flow region is a decreasing function curve,and the horizontal line is NP=0.56.At the same time,the research uses the FLUENT numerical simulation software for polymerization reactor in the laminar flow region,transition flow region and turbulent region for heat transfer simulation.Heat transfer coefficient of spiral coil heat exchanger,jacket heat exchanger obtained.Industrial capacity based on the purpose of the transition flow region as the research object,PBS(poly butylene succinate)production as the background,according to the geometric similarity amplification principle,10 thousand tons each year,60 thousand tons,100 thousand tons/year of amplifying simulation on heat transfer of pre polymerization reactor.The results show that the total deviation coefficient is 0.986-1.018.At the same time,the research uses VB to Compile applications based on the public platform in order to provide some reference for the actual industrial production.
