Polyamide is a kind of polymer material with superior performances and wide application which known as nylon.The research on the synthesis and modification of nylon products has been going for many years.It is an important research direction to make the nylon products more flexible,lower water absorption and broaden the scope of application of polyamide.At present,there are few reports on the systematic analysis and modification of nylon 126.Exploring the synthesis of a new type of nylon 126 and nylon 126/PTMG products,getting softer,lower water absorption of new products are of great significance.Characterization of their properties and the synthesis process conditions to explore is of great significance for the research of polyamide science.Main works are as follows:1.The production of nylon 126 was obtained by polycondensation of adipic acid with twelve carbon amine at the scale of 2L autoclave.Then,PTMG and nylon 126 was block copolymerized to make a new composite material.The structure of the product was characterized and the process conditions were explored.The optimum process conditions of PA 126 salt,the conditions of PA 126 polymerization and the polymerization conditions of PA126/PTMG were determined through the research.2.The properties of nylon 126 were characterized.The thermal properties of nylon 126 were studied,and the crystalline and melting behaviors of nylon 126 were determined.The isothermal and non-isothermal crystallization kinetics parameters of nylon 126 were studied.3.The physical and mechanical properties of nylon 126/PTMG were studied,the crystallization and melting behavior of nylon 126/PTMG and the effect of PTMG addition on the properties of nylon 126 were researched.The study found that Nylon 126 was a kind of excellent products with great comprehensive properties.It has good workability and excellent mechanical properties.The physical and mechanical properties of nylon 126/PTMG were greatly improved compared with nylon 126,the products became softer and the water absorption was lower.Block polymerization of nylon 126 and PTMG was feasible and successful.
