Isobutane alkylation is an important process in refineries that disposes the C4 fraction to produce alkylate.The alkylate is an environmently friendly cleen fuel.Sulfric acid process still will be one of the dominant processes of alkylation in the coming decades.The traditional sulfruc acid process has the disadvantage of bad mixing performance between acid and hydrocarbon phases.To enhence the mass-transferring process between two phases is an effective way to improve the quality of product.High gravity technology is a new technology that can be used to promote mass transfer and micromixing between two-phase reactants,and it has important research significance in alkylation process.In this work,firstly,isobutane/2-butene alkyltion reaction catalyzed by concentrated sulfruic acid was investigated in a stirred tank reactor.In order to obtain the optimal operating conditions,the effects of experimental factors on the result of alkylation reaction were systematically investigated adopting the single factor method,involving time,reaction temperature,rotation speed of stirred tank reactor,feeding method,the volumetric ratio of acid to hydrocarbon,pressure and the molar ratio of isobutane to butane.At the range of experiments,the optimal conditions are as follows:feeding with mixing,t=5 min,T=8 ℃,A/HC=1.2:1(v:v),NSTR=1400 rpm,P=0.4 MPa,1/0=30:1(mol:mol).On the basis of experiment results of stirred tank reactor,isobutane/2-butene alkyltion reaction catalyzed by concentrated sulfruic acid was investigated in a rotating packed bed using isobutane to butane mole ratio of 30:1 as reactants,and the effects of experimental factors on the result of alkylation reaction were investigated,involving time,reaction temperature,the volumetric ratio of acid to hydrocarbon,rotation speed of totating packed bed,and pressure.The optimal conditions are as follows:T=8 ℃,A/HC=1:1(v:v),NRPB=900 rpm,P=0.5 MPa.Under the above conditions,the yield of C8 and TMPs are 88.67%and 82.42%,respectively,TMPs/DMHs ratio is 13.20,and RON value is 97.8.According to experimental results of rotating packed bed,the experimental correlation of the content of the C8,TMPs,DMHs,C9+,and RON for C4 alkylation in rotating packed bed was developed with deviations within ±15%.It was proved that the rotating packed bed can significantly improve the mixing effect between sulfruic acid and hydrocarbon,and rotating packed bed has a good prospect in industrial application. |
