| Iso-polybutene-1(PB-1)has good mechanical properties,it is honored as the "golden plastic".In recent years,domestic and foreign research institutions have carried out a lot of research on the chemical modification and physical modification of PB-1.In this paper,PB-1 was blended with polyethylene terephthalate(PET)to improve the performance of PB-1 and reduce it’s costs.PB-1/PET/PTW blends were prepared by melting blending and using ethylene-butylacrylate-glycidyl methacrylate copolymer(PTW)as reactive compatibilizer.The phase morphology,mechanical properties,crystallization,crystal transformation,shape memory,the melt rheological behavior and the thermal properties of PB-1/PET/PTW blends were studied via scanning electron microscope(SEM),mechanical testing machines,polarized optical microscopy(POM),differential scanning calorimetry(DSC),X-Ray Diffract meter(XRD),capillary rheometer and vicat softening point tester,respectively.The results showed that:In PB-1/PET/PTW blends,PTW could improve the compatibility between PB-1 and PET,make dispersion PET particle more fine,and improve two phase interface bonding to a certain extent.PET could decrease the spherulite size of PB-1.PTW could hider the crystallization of PB-1.However,the crystalline structure of PB-1 was not changed after adding PET and PTW.PB-1 only existed in crystal form II when it was extruded after five hours,but 24 hours later it had crystal form II and I,142 hours later the crystal form II almost completely transfer into crystal form I.Appropriate heat treatment or the addition of PTW and PET promoted the crystal transformation of PB-1 to a certain extent.When the PB-1/PET/PTW blend ratio was 90/10/1,the stretching temperature was 120℃,the stretch ratio was 40%,response temperature was 140℃,recovery time was 60s,the shape recovery ratio of PB-1/PET/PTW blend was higher.The addition of PTW could improve the complex viscosity of PB-1/PET/PTW blends,but it had no obvious effect on the heat resistance of blends. |
