The aromatic solvent oil unit of Sinopec Catalyst(Beijing)Corp.Ltd is a set designed annual processing capacity of 30 thousand tons to produce aromatic solvent oil by ethylene cracking C9 as raw material.Because the Yanshan Petrochemical Company is almost unable to supply the ethylene cracking C9 raw material,the unit is at the risk of feedstock shortage and production break.However,the benzene making C9 resources of Yanshan Petrochemical Company is about 80 thousand tons per year,which boiling range is very suitable for the production of aromatic solvent oil.At present,there have been no related reports of the technology in our country.Therefore,it is of great significance of using benzene making C9 to develop the industrial technology for the production of aromatic solvent oil.The benzene making C9 material contains higher alkenes and colloid,especially contains high dicyclopentadiene(about 23wt%),the special properties of these substances result in the difficulty of the hydrogenation process,particularly for the realization of the raw material colloid removal by distillation.Using the method of vacuum distillation successfully removed the colloid of the raw material in this paper.The effects of operating pressure?operating temperature and reflux ratio on distillation were investigated,the influencing factors on the colloid content of distillate and the thermal decomposition rate of benzene making C9 were studied,and the applicabilities of the catalysts were mainly studied in the first and the second stage hydrogenation process.Through the researches,the optimum process parameters of each operation unit were obtained,and the measures for solving related problems were put forward.In the process of industrial production,according to the experiments and the actual production,the technological parameters of each operating unit were further optimized,the problems of each operating unit were analyzed,and the applicabilities of the catalysts were studied,the technological development of the industrial production of aromatic solvent oil with benzene making C9 by using the process of pretreatment and colloid removal of the raw material?the two stage hydrogenation and the separation of the product have been successfully realized,the product of aromatic solvent oil(specific gravity 0.8860,bromine value 17.17,S content 17.78mg/kg,diene value 0.44,colloid content 11.0mg/100ml)meets the quality requirements.
