Fragrance is one of the most important attributes and,reasons for purchase across laundry brands.Perfume has the ability to boost perception of cleaning(detergents)and softening(conditioners),and engage the consumer in an emotional awareness of the brand,and what it represents.The perfume ingredient always easy to evaporate or react with other component,so encapsulate of perfume give us benefits of wider choice of perfume ingredients,lower loss during manufacture process,improved and targeted delivery at various stages in wash or using cycle,convert liquid perfume into a handable solid state and safer handing and better protection for process worker.The commercial perfume capsule is melamine-formaldehyde perfume capsule,it bring enhancement of perfume delivery for long lasting freshness.But it still exist some issues such as formaldehyde issue in manufacture process and low deposition in using process.Our target of the project is improving deposition performance of commercial MF capsule and explore novel non-formaldehyde perfume capsule with high deposition performance.First step we using carboxyl functional PS particle as a model particle to screening deposition aid polysaccharide,ED AC coupling was used to graft polysaccharide onto model PS particle,after the deposition analysis,six kinds of polysaccharides including HPC,HPMC,MC.HPGuar,HEMC and Dextran modified PS particle showed perfect deposition performance,the SEM pictures also demonstrate the deposition analysis date..So these six kinds of polysaccharides were used as candidate deposition aid polymers.The candidate deposition aid polymers were grafted onto MF capsule via shell formation process,the zeta potential,Particle size and grafting efficiency showed that the polysaccharides were successfully grafted onto MF capsule.The deposition analysis showed that the HPMC obviously enhanced the deposition performance of MF capsule;this method could dissolve the problem of low deposition of comercial MF capsule in the using process.The Polyamide perfume capsule was synthesized via interfacial polymerization using Terephthaloyl Chloride and diethylenetriamine as monomers,and the mPVOH capsules was synthesized via phase separation process.The exploration of preparation was performed,it could be found that using 1%PVA as emulsifier,homogenizing at 6000rpm and adding EDAC at a rate of 0.3ml/min could prepared good morphology and distribution polyamide capsule.The preparation condition for mPVOH is using 0.5%mPVOH solution as wall materials and emulsifier,homoginzating at 6000 rpm,coacevation at 50 °C for 5min,then add 0.4ml aldehyde dextran as crosslinker,then let the reaction continued for 6 hours.Comparison of polyamide capsule,mPVOH capsule and MF capsule showed that polyamide capsules and mPVOH capsule has better deposition performance than MF capsule,especially the mPVOH capsule the deposition efficiency after twice rinse could reached to 50%.But the deposition performance of polyamide capsule is not so good as expect,so deposition performance of polyamide capsule need further improvement.
