Carbohydrazide with its derivatives has strong biological activity,So It is an intermediate of pharmaceutical synthesisa and a nice ligand that containing N,S,O.Used the condensation of its amino and aromatic aldehydes to form bis(substituted salicylaldehyde)carbohydrazide,it has many coordination sites,can be coordinated with organotin,and assembled into Sn-O(N,S)bond organotin complexes.In this paper,the bis(substituted salicylaldehyde)carbohydrazide was synthesized.And then the bis(substituted salicylaldehyde)carbohydrazide alkyltin complexes have been synthesized by the reactions of bis(substituted salicylaldehyde)carbohydrazide and alkyltin.All structures were characterized by elemental analysis,IR,1H,13C NMR and X-ray crystal diffraction.The biological herbicidal activity of all ligand and its complexes were investigated.The paper includes the following four parts:1.The 11 bis(substituted salicylaldehyde)carbohydrazide were synthesized via carbohydrazide or thiocarbohydrazide and substituted salicylaldehyde under alkaline or neutral condition.In which 8 compounds were not reported.2 The 19 bis(substituted salicylaldehyde)carbohydrazide alkyltin complexes were synthesized via bis(substituted salicylaldehyde)carbohydrazide and dibutyltin oxide,butyltin trichloride or dibenzyltin dichloride,in which 17 complexes were not reported.3 All compounds were characterized by elemental analysis,IR,1H NMR and 13 C NMR.The 10 structures were determined by X-ray crystal diffraction.4 The herbicidal activity of bis(substituted salicylaldehyde)carbohydrazide and its complexes were tested by plating method for Portulaca oleracea,Amaranthus spinosus,Semen Cassiae,49 of Chinese Cabbege,Edible Amaranth.The test showed: Within the test concentration range,most of complexes exhibited herbicidal activity for Portulaca oleracea,Amaranthus spinosus and Semen cassiae.Even a small number of complexes showed excellent selectivity that did not affect the growth of crops.
