Alkyl polyglucoside(APG),synthesized from renewable resources of natural fatty alcohol and glucose,is a new kind of non-ionic surfactant which has low surface tension, highly activity, strong ability of decontamination, weak stimulation to skin, fine bio-degradation and no pollution to environment.Hence,APG system is favored by more and more cosmetics company. For some unknown reasons, the products with APG system produced by a company appear viscosity unstable phenomenon in different batch. So in this paper, the rheological properties of APG system are studied form the angle of the composition of formulation and the preparation process. Also, computer simulations are done to provide reasonable suggestion when transit from the small laboratory to the large scale production factory experiment.First of all,in the study of the different composition in the formulation which provide by the company, hydroxyethyl acrylate/sodium acryloyldimethyl taurate copolymer(EMT-10)has significant effect on the viscosity and rheological properties of the system.Arachidyl glucoside(Emul-202)can also affect the rheological property to some extent. Then,in order to study the influence of EMT-10 addition technology, the dispersed way and the addition node are investigated to research the effect to the rheological property from the perspective of preparation technology. The results showed products using 1,3-BG to dissolve the EMT-10 have lower viscosity than dissolved in SF-1204.Under the condition of same dispersed way,the viscosity of system increased with the lag of the addition node and the early stage of dispersion are better. Finally,Combined with specific experimental verification, this paper has introduced computer simulation to provide some experiments data to the transition from the small laboratory to the large scale production factory experiment.
