Increasing plasticity is an important topic in the field of amorphous and composite materials.In this paper,three kinds of amorphous composite materials of Ti40Zr24V12Cu5Be19,Ti42Zr22V14Cu5Be17 and Ti46Zr20V12Cu5Be17 were prepared by vacuum melting copper mold suction.The morphology ofβ-Ti phase will be changed by semi-solid isothermal treatment.The thermophysical properties,mechanical properties,phase composition and morphology ofβ-Ti phase were analyzed by XRD,SEM,DSC and room temperature compression test.XRD and DSC analysis showed that as-cast Ti40Zr24V12Cu5Be19,Ti42Zr22V14Cu5Be17and Ti46Zr20V12Cu5Be17 were all consisted of amorphous matrix and amorphous phase.The glass transition temperature Tg and the crystallization temperature Tx are 652K,655K,658K and 691K,701K,712K,respectively.The liquid phase widthΔTx is 39K,46K and54K,respectively,and the glass transition temperature Trg is about 0.7.The compressive fracture strength and compressive plastic strain were 1298MPa,1915MPa,1854MPa and6.2%,13.1%,14.1%,respectively.The evolution of semi-solid isothermal process:Under holding time 10min and800℃,the morphology ofβ-Ti began to change.But it has not yet formed a granular;When the temperature rises to 860℃to 900℃,the morphology ofβ-Ti changed from dendrites to granular.XRD and DSC tests show that the composites of Ti42Zr22V14Cu5Be17 and Ti46Zr20V12Cu5Be17 are still composed of amorphous matrix and bbcβ-Ti crystal phase after semi-solid isothermal heat treatment.After semi-solid isothermal temperature 860℃and holding time 10min,The fracture strength and plasticity of Ti42Zr22V14Cu5Be17 and Ti46Zr20V12Cu5Be17amorphous alloys were 2101MPa,2079MPa and 18.2%and 24.1%,respectively.The fracture strength and plasticity were increased by 9.7%、12.1%and 5.1%、10%,respectively.
