As an essential unit in chemical production,reciprocating compressor is difficult to predict for its numerous parts and complex fault excitation.In this paper,wear and loosening faults of reciprocating compressor transmission mechanism were studied,the vibration response of the unit and the transmission characteristics of vibration signal was analyzed,the prediction and diagnose method of the fault was proposed in the research.(1)The kinematic model of the reciprocating compressor transmission mechanism with wear clearance was established,the factors that influence the clearance force were determined,the change trend of clearance force under the wear failure was analyzed,the effect of wear failure on the movement characteristics was studied,and the influence of wear failure on the lubrication characteristics was studied.Based on these studies,the multi-body dynamic model of the connecting rod bearing shell with abrasion fault was built based on the nonlinear contact model and nonlinear friction model,the mechanical response under different failure stages was analyzed.The transmission law of vibration signal of the wear fault was studied,and the changing characteristics of vibration signal transmission process were analyzed.(2)The loosening fault dynamic model of the fastening nut of the reciprocating compressor was established.The response law of the fault was studied and the fault diagnosis method of the thread loosening was put forward.(3)A reciprocating compressor test bench was established to carry out the piston pin end shell abrasion and fastening nut screw looseness fault experiment,combined with the actual engineering case of crank pin end shell wear failure to verify the proposed fault diagnosis method.
