Study On The Relationship Between The Dispersive State Of Water-soluble Dispersed Phase In Polymer-baset Materials And The Water-solution Process Of Dispersed Phase | Posted on:2018-02-22 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | Country:China | Candidate:Q H Li | Full Text:PDF | GTID:2321330518494911 | Subject:Engineering Mechanics | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | It can provide an effective method to prepare the water-soluble dispersant with controlled release rate what study on the relationship between the dispersive state of water-soluble dispersed phase in polymer-based materials and the water-solution process of dispersed phase.By blending with the polymer to achieve controlling the rate of release of the water-soluble dispersed phase.The main factor is to reveal the relationship between the dispersive state of water-soluble dispersed phase in polymer matrix and the preparation process and equipment of the blend.In this paper,the blends consist of polymer and salt are prepared by intermeshing co-rotating batch mixer and intermeshing counter-rotating batch mixer in house.Then a self-made measurement of water-solution processing for water-soluble dispersed phase is used to determine the dissolution process aiming to reveal the relationship among the preparation apparatus,the process,the water-soluble dispersed phase and the water-solution process.The details are as follows:The flow field characteristics and mixing performance of the two mixers are compared by numerical simulation.Based on the analysis of the distribution characteristics of pressure fields and velocity fields in the two mixers,the particle tracking technique was used to study the distributive mixing and dispersive mixing performance of dispersed agglomerate in polymer matrix using the distribution index and maximum shear stress probability density respectively.Furthermore,the influence of mixing time,rotor speed and rotor configuration on mixing performance are also researched in numerical simulation,which provides the necessary theoretical support for the subsequent experimental.Using the self-made apparatus and measurement,the preparation of the blends and the water-soluble dispersion of the water-solution process are tested.The mixing process(mixing time and rotor speed)and equipment structure(rotor configuration)are considered in the blending experiment.The change of conductivity/resistivity in the solution caused by the dissolution of the water-soluble dispersed phase are recorded in the measurement.Meanwhile,the samples will be dyed after testing in the measurement to observe the dispersive state of the water-soluble dispersed phase in the polymer matrix and the dissolved channel state formed by the water-solution process.Through the comparison of the conductivity variation curves of the three samples and the horizontal contrast of the samples’ images,the mixing performance of the specific conditions was revealed.The influence of process parameters and equipment structure on the water-solution process was analyzed by the longitudinal comparison of the test results under different mixing process and equipment structure,and the relationship between the dispersive state of the water-soluble dispersed phase and the water-solubtion process was further revealed. | Keywords/Search Tags: | batch mixer, dispersive state, water-solution process, mixing performance, numerical simulation | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
