Study On Processing Heavy Fraction Of Light Fuel Oil From Ethylene Thermal Cracking

Abstract/Summary:
Yield of heavy fraction of light fuel oil from ethylene thermal cracking is high up to 20,000ton/a,which is rich in C9 and CIO aromatics.Now,these heavy fraction oils are used as fuel,and the utilization is not efficient.In this thesis,we develop a process to utilize such heavy fraction oils,including experimental study and industrial test.We experimentally stuy the production of gasoline blending component from the fraction oil with boiling point<205 ℃ from heavy fraction oils,including distillation,dehydration,filtration,inhibitor protection,low temperature pre-hydrogenation,hydrogenation and alkali washing,where the operation conditions are determined and the applicability of catalysts are demonstrated.In the pre-hydrogenation,the reduction ratios of diene and bromine value are 78%and 77%respectively at 2.3MPa,80℃,space velocity of 0.6h-1 and the volume ratio of hydrogen:oil 250:1,which meets the requirement for feed in the next stage.In the hydrogenation,the colorless and transparent oil product is obtained with diene value of 0.09gI2/100g,bromine value of 0.95gBr2/100g,S-content of 8mg/kg after alkali washing and resin content of 3mg/100ml,when the operation conditions are 2.3MPa,250℃,space velocity of 1.0h-1 and the volume ratio of hydrogen:oil 300:1.The inhibitor of 0.5w‰is added in distillation and pre-hydrogenation,and the volume ratio of 3w%~10w%alkali solution to feed is 2:1 in desulfurization processs.In the industrial test,with the 20w%cutting-out fraction from the heavy fraction oil as feed,the gasoline blending oil can be produced,with terminal boiling point(?)205℃,S-content℃,10mg/kg and resin content(?)5mg/kg.The process proposed in this thesis to produce the gasoline blending oil from the fraction oil with boiling point(?)205 ℃ is practical in both technology and economics.With this technology,the fraction oil from ethylene thermal cracking can be utilized efficiently.
