Carbohydrate exists widely in nature,which is regarded as the third molecule bearing biologcal information following nucleotide and protein.Based on the bonding effects between boronic acid group and carbohydrate and the fact that carbohydrate is polyhydroxy,boronic acid compounds are further studied for its usual using for recognizing carbohydrate,marking cells and serving as protection reagents in the synthesis of carbohydrate.In the first part of the paper,three 3-amidophenylbronic acid compounds were synthesized by organic acids and 3-aminobenzeneboronic acid.All the synthetic products were characterized by IR,1HNMR and melting point test.Then the three 3-amidophenylbronic acid compounds used for the recognition of six carbohydrates.Fluorescence spectrometric results showed that there 3-amidophenylbronic acid compounds could constuct three-component competitive system including ARS-compounds-carbohydrate by the introduction of Alizarin Red S indicator and make fluorescence detection of monose come true.In the second part of the paper,a water-soluble polymer was synthesized through the polymerization of[3-(undecenylamido)phenyl]boronic acid and acrylamide under the protection of nitrogen.The IR,UV-VIS absorption spectra confirmed that there was phenylboronic acid group on the chain of the new polymer.Compared with[3-(undecenylamido)phenyl]boronic acid,the polymeride could dissolve in water,so we could researched related the recognition of monoses in aqueous solution.Experiments show that when the Alizarin red S was joined in the polymer aqueous solutions,due to the presence of acid base,the absorption peak of Alizarin red S had a certain amount of violet shift,and when the monosaccharide molecules was joined after the solution of the two,due to the combined effect of acid groups and sugar molecules,the spectrum of Alizarin red S was resumption.The whole experimental procedure could be observed by color change with the naked eye,which maked it possible to provide the qualitative detection of the monosaccharide molecules with a new idea.
