Abstract/Summary:
Polyamide was first used to fiber by DuPont Company,and it was industrialized in the year of 1939.At present,there are dozens of types.Among these,polyamide-6,polyamide-66 and polyamide-610 are the most widely used.Polyamide is mainly used in synthetic fiber,which is commonly knew as PA fiber.Its most prominent advantage is its high resistance of abrasion,which is higher than any other fibers.It is 10 times higher than cotton,20 times higher than wool.The resistance of abrasion is highly improved if you add some polyamide fibers in the blended fabric.Its elastic resilience can be 100 percent when it is stretched to 3-6 percent.Because of these characteristics,polyamide is widely used in car,electrical equipment,mechanical structure,traffic material papermaking machinery,etc.However,the polyamide fiber,which is used in clothes,has disadvantage of low absorption and low dyeing,especially polyamide-66 and polyamide-6.Those shortcomings limit further development of polyamide fiber in clothes.According to the fact above,this article takes polyamide as the base,graft some groups on its surface.Discuss the grafted effect by the way of Fourier transform infrared spectrometer;observe the grafted morphology by the scanning electron microscope;explore the factors which affect grafting and seek the best graft technology by calculation grafted rate.Based on this,the polyamide fabric is processed by coupling agent,then electro-less plate silver on PA fabric.This method is expected to validated the rate of grafting.This paper mainly studies on the following aspects:1.Taking FeSO4/H2O2 as the initiator,acrylic as grafted monomer,chemically grafting on polyamide fabric.Through single factor experiments,analysis the factors which affect the rate of grafting,and get the superlative process;2.Taking KMnO4/strong H2SO4 as the initiator,acrylic as grafted monomer,chemically grafting on polyamide fabric.Through single factor experiments,analysis the factors which affect the rate of grafting,and get the superlative process;3.Using the structure like sandwich,taking acetone as the initiator,acrylic as grafted monomer,grafting on polyamide fabric by ultraviolet ray.Research the feasibility of this method.Through single factor experiments,analysis the factors which affect the rate of grafting,and get the superlative process;4.In these three methods,focus on analyzing the influence degree of oxygen to grafting rate.Studies showed that:the existence of oxygen is the key point of experiments’ success or not.At the atmosphere of oxygen,the grafting rate is very low or even zero,but at the atmosphere of no-oxygen,the grafting rate is obvious.5.In these three methods,focus on analyzing the feasibility of using antiscorbutic acid as the oxidation inhibitor.Studies showed that:this way is effective.However,this way can not remove all the oxygen,which affects the final grafting rate.6.Based on the fabric grafted carboxyl group,take some process to the polyamide fabric,in order to functional graft sulfur groups.Then electroless plate silver on the fabric,which can be used to characterized the grafting rate indirectly.
