At present,the application of AlSi9Cu3 has a higher hardness and strength, By die-casting production, with high Cu content so good heat resistance but its lower elongation limits its development and application. The purpose of this paper is to study the properties of a new cylinder head material with high strength and high elongation, which is named AlSi9Cu1. By adding Mn, Mg, Zn elements to change the microstructure and properties of the alloy, Study the effect of Sr deterioration,the thesis determined the optimal composition of the alloy and studied the heat treatment process at the same time. According to the research,the thesis gets the following conclusions.When the content of Mn is 0.31%,the alloy shows excellent performance with strength of 273MPa, hardness of 89HBS and elongation of 6.11%. When the content of Mg is 0.26% and the content of Zn is 0.4%, the alloy shows excellent comprehensive performance with strength of 275MPa, hardness of 89HBS and elongation of 6.18%. When the Mg content is high, the plastic will be greatly reduced.Sr can effectively refine a (Al) and improve the morphology of eutectic silicon.When the content of Sr is between 0.02% and 0.024%, the alloy has the highest strength of 279MPa, hardness of 87-90HBS and elongation of 6.06%.When the alloy takes the heat treatment process of 515℃×5+160℃×8,its strength reaches 278MPa, hardness reaches 106HBS, elongation reaches 6.78%.Factory mass production entity sampling all parts of the average performance to achieve strength 285MPa, hardness 104HBS, elongation 7.05%.
