Ethanol produced by the fermentation of wood cellulose was a kind of biomass energy, which was rich in source and had strong regeneration. It had important applications and development prospects. This paper mainly focused on the key technologies of the preparation of fuel ethanol from bamboo shoot shell. Under the optimum pretreatment conditions of five-carbon sugar and six-carbon sugar simultaneous saccharification and fermentation to improve the yield of fuel ethanol. The results of the study were as follows:(1)Bamboo shoots were pretreated by alkali oxidation. The concentration of NaOH was1.5% and the H2O2 was 1% . The optimum process of bamboo shell pretreatment were : solid-liquid ratio 1: 75, the temperature 55?, time 6h, the concentration of NaOH 1.5%. The removal rate of lignin was 75.63% under the optimal condition.(2) The enzymatic hydrolysis of bamboo shoots after pretreatment with alkali, three important factors affecting the hydrolysis of cellulose and hemicellulose were analyzed. The optimal xylose yield conditions were studied by the response surface methodology (RSM) , at a Box-Behnken design . The model fitting degree was fitness, the test error was small, this model could be used to analyze and predict the results of enzymatic hydrolysis of xylose. The results showed that the optimal xylose yield parameters were: substrate concentration 13%, pH 5.0, temperature 42.5?.In this condition, the yield of reducing sugar was 62.31%.(3) The single factor analysis method were used to analyze the five main factors that affected the simultaneous co fermentation. The analysis results showed that the recombinant yeast was S.cerevisiae. ZU-10 for simultaneous saccharification and fermentation strains, the optimized fermentation conditions for simultaneous saccharification and co fermentation were: fermentation temperature 42?,peptone 7.5g/L,inoculation amount 15% (stepwise added) , the rotational speed 120r/min.Under the optimized conditions, the fermentation of 7d, the concentration of ethanol reached 12.35g/L, the yield of ethanol was18.53%. It showed that the process had a good fermentation level, these results could provide an important reference value for the further research.
