As the material carrier of the liquor,witness to the development of liquor culture,perfect combination of liquor culture and utensil culture,since the birth of the first vessel that keeps wine during the Neolithic period,the long historical time has given the wine set a rich variety of functions and profound cultural heritage,and it has been continuously innovating,improving and enriching.In recent years,with the continuous improvement of people’s material life and spiritual and cultural needs,the growing prosperous liquor market is no longer satisfied with the liquor bottle with general appearance and single function,but it makes new demands on transferring liquor culture,promoting drinking experience and reflecting national culture.While focusing on the functions and appearance of the liquor bottle,designers will pay more attention to the cultural connotations contained in it,among which the national culture has been elevated to a new height.Lu Xun once said that,"only when it is national,it is international",which aims to teach the nation to learn introspection and self-renewal.Now it seems to be one of the theoretical guidance in the design field:taking the essence and discarding the dross in our national culture,and learning widely from excellent cultures in foreign nations.In this thesis,the author aims to explore the organic combination and interactive application between liquor bottle design and Chinese national culture.With the methods such as literature review,field research,inductive analysis and so on,firstly,the author gives an brief introduction to the historical evolution and cultural elements of liquor and liquor bottle,and discusses the value and significance of traditional national cultural elements research on modern liquor bottle design;secondly,the author elaborates on the connotation and extension of national culture,lists the representative national cultural elements as a source of inspiration for the design of liquor bottle,and gives a detailed analysis of the outstanding design case in the design of liquor bottle;thirdly,the author concludes the current situation and deficiency of liquor bottle design of Sichuan liquor,and proposes that the demands,the regional culture and design principle of brand culture should be combined,and the balance among the simple and natural liquor bottle culture,the streamlined industrial design and refined craftsman spirit should be found.The author suggests that the above concepts should be applied in the model,decoration,color,texture and other aspects of the liquor bottle to upgrade brand influence and convey the culture of Sichuan liquor.Finally,with the author’s design case as the example,the author designs two types of liquor bottle with Sichuan cultural representatives and implements the design concept and application mode proposed before.The point of this thesis is that,the design of modern liquor bottle should fully absorb national cultural connotation,convey cultural innovation through modern design methods and avoid blind imitation and reference;break the stereotype of liquor bottle,reflect uniqueness and representativeness of the product and avoid the wasted design which emphasizes the decoration and ignores the model;create the liquor bottle with cultural connotation and conforming to ecological design and explore the design thought and method which can truly reflect national cultural connotation. |
