The quantity of waste paper was very large.And the utilization of waste paper was very low in our country.In order to improve the utilization of waste paper,protect forest resources and develop environmental wood plastic composite materials.In this paper,the waste paper/poly ethylene terephthalateco-1,4-cylclohexylene composites was prepared.The preparation process,fiber modification process,structural were studied.The structure and performance of composites materials were tested.(1)The best preparation conditions of wood plastic composites was researched by single experiment.The best preparation conditions were obtained as follows:high-speed mixing time is 30 min,hot pressing molding temperature is 190?,hot pressing molding pressure is 10 MPa,hot pressing molding time is 10 min,contents of waste paper is 5 wt%,particle size of waste paper is 60-80 mesh.(2)Waste paper was treated by NaOH and AKD.The composites material was prepared by modified waste paper powder and PETG.The best process conditions of alkali treatment were obtained as follows:sodium hydroxide solution is 15%,treatment temperature is 60?,duration time is 60 min.When the content of AKD was 2 wt%,the physical strength of the composites reached the highest value,and the water absorption was the lowest.(3)The properties of the composites were enhanced by three coupling agents separately.It was found that the effect of KH550 on the properties of the composites was best.Increasing the amount of coupling agent can improve the physical strength of the composites.But excessive addition of coupling agent would lead to the decline of the performance.When the amount of KH550 was 1 wt%,the physical strength of composites reached the highest value.The tensile strength is 41.67MPa,and the flexural strength is 98.31 MPa.In addition,the coupling agent increased the thermal properties of composite materials(4)The water absorption of composite materials was increased significantly when we increased ratio of waste paper powder in composite materials.With the extension of soaking time,the water absorption was increased and increasing rate was gradually slowed down.The addition of AKD and KH550 coupling agent can effectively reduce water absorption.
