The importance of grinding grade in mineral processing is self-evident.First of all,costsof grinding and grading circuit infrastructure and costsof production operation are accounted for about 70%.Second,the grinding and grading circuit needs to select the appropriate size of the product.Therefore,to improve the quality of grinding grading circuit of the quality of the concentrator is of great significance.This paper takes the 6~# grinding and grading circuit of Baihualing Concentrator in Jinmo Molybdenum in Shaanxi Province as an example.The ore is mainly the value of molybdenum that is output by Molybdenite.The gangue minerals are mainly quartzite and Ansan porphyrite.The results show that the particle size distribution is extremely unsatisfactory,the yield of segregation is only 19.17%,the ratio of reclaimed sand is 451.09%,the content of-10μm in the cyclone overflow is 18.52%.it was confirmed that the ore was brittle and fragile under the base ofthe determination of the mechanical properties of the ore and the grinding work index.The results of the calculation of the radius of the semi-theoretical formula also show that the maximum ball diameter from 120 mm to 80 mm is more appropriate.In order to examine the effect of reducing the grinding process parameters such as ball diameter,the JK software was used to simulate.Analysis of the simulation results show that a single adjustment of grinding ball diameter and other process parameters can not effectively achieve the ideal grinding grading indicators,it can be achieved that only the same time to adjust the grinding process parameters.The simulation results show that the optimum grinding parameters are as follows: the ball diameter is 80 mm,the grinding concentration is 80%,the ball filling rate is 40% and the graded concentration is 60%.At this time,26.21%,the ratio of return to sand is 297.17%,the content of hydrocyclone overflow product is 74.67%,of which 10μm content is 16.74%,which is better than that of industrial production site.Laboratory samples were respectively.tested and analyzed with-2 mm and-8 mm samples.The results show that when the-2mm sample is used,the laboratory verifies the grinding data consistent with the optimal simulation results.the fineness index is better than JKSimMet software simulation with-8mm Expanded particle size verification test Grinding grade overflow product-74μm up to 66.26%,5.59 percentage points higher than the flow inspection fineness.While the laboratory overflow products to improve the fineness at the same time,but also greatly reduces the content of difficult to select the grade,compared with the process survey data decreased by 2.21 percentage points.The flotation results also confirmed that the change in particle size composition greatly improved the flotation index.
