Tobacco during the process of combustion(not completely burning)has produced carbon monoxide,nitrogen dioxide and other nitrogen oxides,benzene and its homologues,formaldehyde and other thousands of harmful substances.Which volatile organic compounds(benzene,formaldehyde,et al.)and human ultra-fine particles seriously pollute the environment and damage the human body healthy.In this paper,the sources and types of indoor air pollution sources and the possible hazards of indoor tabacco smoke on the human body are briefly introduced.At present,there are mainly adsorption,photocatalysis and membrane separation method.Low temperature plasma method.The bottleneck of future composite processing technologf is to reduce costs and simplify the operation.In this study,low temperature plasma was used as a new type of cigarette smoke purifier to deal with volatile organic compounds(VOCs)in indoor smoke,and the mechanism of low temperature plasma treatment of volatile organic compounds in cigarette smoke was discussed.By detecting the concentration and distribution of volatile organic compounds in the gas released by the pipeline DBD low temperature plasma smoke purifier after combustion of the cigarettes in a specific space,the initial concentration of the volatile organic substances directly generated by the cigarette smoke is not passed through the smoke purifier,And the comparison was carried out to obtain the removal rate.The effects of basic factors such as voltage,gas flow rate,electrode diameter,adding different filler(ceramsite,activated carbon and so on)on the purification effect were studied,and the optimum technological conditions were selected.
