Inorganic-organic hybrid materials have attracted considerable attention and been intensively investigated not only because of fascinating structural diversities for supramolecular chemistry and crystal engineering,but also distinctive properties inherited from the interaction of inorganic and organic components.In this graduation thesis,we synthesized five bivalent organic cations,they are:1,5-bis?4-aminopyridine?pentane dibromide?BAPP·2Br?,1,6-bis?4-aminopyridine?hexane dibromide?BAPH·2Br?,1,8-bis?4-aminopyridine?octane dibromide?BAPO·2Br?,1,2-bis?3,4-diaminopyridine?ethane dibromide?BDAPE·2Br?,1,4-bis?3,4-diaminopyridine?butane dibromide?BDAPB·2Br?.Guided by the five organic cationic agents and different transition metal halides as the raw materials of the inorganic framework,fourteen supramolecular compounds with different structures were synthesized through self-assembling growth at the room temperature.The abbreviation of their names are shown as below: [?BAPP??CdI4?]·DMF?1?,[?BAPP??HgI4?]·DMF?2?,[?BAPH??CdI4?]?3?,[?BAPH??HgI4?]?4?,[?BAPO?3(Cd2I10)]?5?,[?BAPO?3(Hg2I10)]?6?,[?BAPH??CuBr3?]?7?,[?BAPP??Ag3Br5?]n?8?,[?BAPH?0.5?AgBr2?]n?9?,[?BAPO?3(?Ag3Br5?]n?10?,[?BDAPE?0.5(?AgBr2?·DMF]n?11?,[?BAPH??Ag2I4?]n?12?,[?BDAPE??AgI3?]?13?,[?BDAPB??Ag4I6?·2DMF]n?14?.X-ray single crystal diffraction structure analysis shows that the structures of these fourteen compounds are 0-or one-dimension.In all of them,the structures of compound 1 and 2,3 and 4,5 and 6 are very similar respectively.And then,the structures of these compounds were explored using IR spectroscopy,X-ray powder diffraction?PXRD?,elemental analysis,UV-Vis diffuse reflectance spectra,thermal gravimetric analysis?TGA?.We calculated the optical band gap values of these compounds by the ultraviolet-visible spectrophotometer,and the result indicats that they are potentially semiconductor catalysts.On that basis,we investigated the photocatalytic degradation properties of some compounds.Theresearch results show that in the corresponding experimental conditions,compounds1-6,12-14 have obvious catalytic degradation effect to methylene blue?MB?;compound 5 and compound 6 have good degradation abilities to methyl orange?MO?;compounds 6,12-14 have good degradation effect on rhodamine B?RhB?.Besides,when we degraded the other two dyes by the used catalyst,there was no effect on the second time degradation of MO,but had a great influence on the second time degradation of MB or RhB,causing a decreased influence.In addition,we studied the fluorescent properties of some organic cations and compounds.Among them,all compounds have good photoluminescence properties except that the compounds' metal center is elemental mercury.We speculate that it's the large atomic radius of the mercury casuing the fluorescence quenching phenomena.
