Downhole electric pulse production as a new development to improve oil recovery technology which has a wide application prospect in the production of oil wells and water injection wells.Downhole electric pulse discharge technology can effectively release the drilling,completion,oil and other a series of construction process on the formation of oil and gas channel pollution and congestion,so that the formation of micro-cracks in the oil reservoir to improve the permeability.In this paper,based on the liquid power effect of the main study of high voltage electric pulse plugging technology principles and characteristics,and run the specific analysis of the new electric pulse plugging equipment,how to support the completion of the theoretical background from the discharge to the shock wave to build the plugging process;The whole structure and the various modules of the Downhole plugging equipment are studied,and the key technical points are discussed in detail,such as the charging unit,the energy storage unit and the discharge unit.At the same time,the electrode structure of the plugging device is simulated,Find the appropriate pulse discharge electrode.In this paper,the influence of different discharge gap,different medium and different charging voltage on the amplitude of shock wave generated by downhole pulse discharge is mainly discussed.To this end,set up a set of discharge plugging experimental platform,and the experiments were carried out under different media,different charging voltage and different discharge gap.The experimental results show that for ball-ball electrodes,the shock wave intensity in oil and water is higher than that in tap water.For plate-plate type electrodes,the shock wave intensity in oil and water is also higher than that in tap water.the higher the amplitude of the shock wave,indicating that the equipment is best used in oil and water medium.The higher the charge voltage in the oil and water conditions,the greater the amplitude of the shock wave generated,Under certain conditions,the current steepness has no effect on shock wave amplitude;The use of high voltage,small capacitance can increase the peak value of the shock wave,but the pulse width is short,the damage effect is poor;other conditions are the same,within a certain electrode gap,the larger the electrode gap,the higher the amplitude of the shock wave.
