The exploration of Nanniwan oilfield began in the 1970 s.At present, the development of the study area has entered into the high warter cut stage, the development is difficult and the level of logging technology was very low at that time.In this development form,it is a great practical significance and guidance value to study the regional geological characteristics and to establish the identification standard of poor and thin oil layers, which can improve the recovery rate of oilfields, find the development process of the poor and thin oil layers and find alternative resources. The paper makes full use of geological,well-logging and indoor analysis and test data, and integrate well-logging sedimentology, petroleum geology, according to research thoughts that from macroscopic to microscopic, from single well to multiple well to target stratum in the research region, have studied the structure characteristics, sedimentary facies, diagenesis, aeolotropy, electrical property, physical property and oil-bearing property relationship in depth. And finally the identification standard of poor and thin oil layer has been established. Finally, considering structural features, sedimentary facies, diagenetic facies, reservoir characteristics, and the production performance, the cluster analysis software SPSS was used to establish the classification criteria of the thin oil layer. The area of?is 3.99km2,The area of ? area is 5.75km2,The area of ? area is 5.21km2.We compare the evaluate results with production test data, the results indicate that this method is feasible in container rock evaluation, and is also very scientific and synthetical,it pointed out the direction for the oil exploration and exploitation, and have some economic benefit,so it can be generalized.
