First with DSC routine testing iPP / EPDM system for thermal analysis.With the rise of EPDM content,enthalpy value of each system are progressively decreased,showing obvious antagonistic relationship with EPDM.On the other hand,in the same rubber content,with the added value of the enthalpy change of the curing agent blends show a downward trend,which may be due to peroxide diethy-l-propylbenzene not exclusively occur with EPDM crosslinking reaction,also have a certain bond with the PP interactions,and even lead to the degradation of polypropylene.SEM images show pure i PP photos show single homogeneous matrix phase,smooth surface,and with the addition of EPDM,a two-phase structure of PP / EPDM blends exhibit "sea-island structure",EPDM As a system,the dispersed phase,in order to approximate the form of uniform spherical particles dispersed in a continuous matrix among iPP,and the two-phase interface is Octavia.Compared with pure i PP crystallize,with the addition of rubber content is increased,the crystal ball drop and brightness details become increasingly blurred.No matter how vulcanizing agent content and EPDM composition changes,i PP always generates only ?-type crystal form,indicating EPDM does not induce change of crystalline type iPP.On the other hand,with the increase of EPDM content,the proportion of the amorphous peak is significantly increased,the crystallinity of the blends decreased,because the rubber is an amorphous phase itself,but also not involved due to crystallization.Prepared under different processing aluminum coupling agent,and different boron content of polypropylene / BN composites,experimental tests of thermal conductivity and dielectric constant of the sample,the results show that the composite material in 2wt% aluminum acetate By content,thermal insulation effect and the effect of boron content at 30wt% best performers.Preparation of a different cross-linking agent dicumy peroxide content,and various ethylene-propylene rubber component polypropylene / BN / EPDM thermal insulation material,the thermal conductivity was measured for each sample,dielectric constant and a melt index The results showed that at 2wt% DCP content,the performance at 20wt% EPDM content of the composite material is best,so the best preparation conditions for the entire subject.
