In shipbuilding,pressure vessel,heavy machinery,automobile manufacturing and other industries,some large structures,such as a kind of truck scale body which is made of different thickness of end plates,panels,U steel has high weight,large volume and complicated structure,have difficulty in being overturned or preciously.Thus inevitably need to adopt vertical welding in the process of production.Vertical welding includes set up welding and vertical down welding,the former is vertical welding for short.Vertical down usually has shallow penetration than vertical welding so that it has lower reliability.Recently,vertical welding technology at home or abroad mainly depends on manual welding,semi-automatic welding or tie-in way,which is big workload,poor quality and workpiece ratio.To conquer the difficulty,it is proposed using welding robot to replace human realizing automation production.Robots are flexible mechanical and electrical integration products,the actual production of robots vertical welding process is mainly put forward the two problems,one is structure compounds often occurs due to factors such as machining error assembly clearance,clearance within the range of 0 to 4 mm,about the size of the gap,the size of the location,there is randomness.The second is the efficiency of the welding process requirements cause of the limitation of actual production rhythm.The last is the actual work piece geometry shape is complex so that it has very strict limits on gun angle.This article firstly analysis the influence trend of robot welding process of different process parameters and robotic swaying to vertical weld through a lot of process test,and emphatically points on the effect of clearance and welding speed to vertical welding process,and compared the effect of the welding process,the DC constant current situation,dc pulse conditions,and acidic flux cored wire three methods to large gap set up fast welding process,respectively,puts forward three sets of effective process.Using arc shape taken by Sony DSC-W290 camera images and olten drops collected by Fast Cam 512 type high-speed video acquisition system transition combining real-time current voltage waveform acquired by the Hanover welding quality analysis system,analyzed the automated vertical big gap fast MAG welding arc shape melt dripping transition form,illustrating its weld formation mechanism.In the end,automatic MAG vertical swing arc welding temperature field has been simulated through the FEM,for judging good weld forming for the future it provides a numerical model.
