With the rapid development of social economy and the progress of electromagnetic technology,the application of electromagnetic equipment is more and more widely.The intensity of electromagnetic radiation in our environment also increases and the health crisis caused by electromagnetic radiation has attracted people's attention.China provides rule that people must take appropriate protective measures when electromagnetic radiation level in our environmental exceeded 10 W/m2.It is the most widely used passive protection measure to wear electromagnetic protective suits except controlling the radiation source.In the design and manufacture of electromagnetic protective suits,the electromagnetic energy leakage of holes and seams is an important issue to be considered.The experimental and theoretical researches on the electromagnetic protective suits now available mainly focus on the electromagnetic shielding effect(SE)of protective suits materials,and seldom consider the influence of the existence of human body and protective suits design.In this paper,on the basis of tihe real anatomical human model,finite difference time domain(FDTD)method is used to study the influence of the hole on the shield effect.In this paper,the influence of the open of the conducting protective suits on the electromagnetic shielding effect in the 0.3-3 GHz band is analyzed.The following rules are obtained by calculating the change of electromagnetic energy absorption in the human body after wearing protective suits.(1)the opening of the protective suits is the main cause of electromagnetic leakage.When the gap is perpendicular to the polarization direction of the electromagnetic field,the electromagnetic wave energy is more likely to leak;(2)when the electromagnetic wave frequency is from 0.3 GHz to 3 GHz,the protective effectiveness of the perfect conductor protective suits with the same opening increases with the increase of frequency,and finally tends to be stable;(3)it is not easy to reach the protective effect of 30 dB without the treatment of the gap.In this paper,a new method is proposed to suppress the electromagnetic leakage of the slot.The numerical simulation shows that the electromagnetic leakage of the protective suits can be effectively suppressed,and the protective performance of the protective suits can be effectively improved.This study provides technical support for the design of protective suits.
