CNC vertical grinder is a kind of high precision machine tool in metal cutting machine tool,which is widely used in the grinding process of large and middle size rotary parts,the work piece spindle axis and the cutter spindle axis are vertical to the horizontal plane.Compared with the horizontal grinding machine,the vertical grinder has the advantages of convenient clamping work piece,higher machining precision and machining efficiency.With the application range and requirement of CNC vertical grinder are more and more,and the costumers have more and more demands of personalized functions,traditional design and production management methods can not meet the demand of product mass customization,using the advanced design tools and concepts to improve product performance and design efficiency of CNC vertical grinder is very important for manufacturing enterprises.In this article,the research is carried out focusing on CNC vertical grinder adaptable and modular design product planning,Product structure layout optimization and evaluation.The specific research contents are as follows:First of all,aim at the requirement of CNC vertical grinder in different industries.On the base of functional analysis,the modules of CNC vertical grinder are divided and the interfaces design is standardized,the adaptable and modular planning of product in horizontal series,vertical series and cross series is carried out.Secondly,the platform of product design and management of CNC vertical grinder is established.the scheme design process which can respond to the customer requirements quickly and the collaborative design process of the contract product are introduced,further the encoding rules of product parts drawings and materials are researched,improve the quality and efficiency of product development and design.Once again,four types structure layout models of CNC vertical grinder are constructed.The analysis of static and dynamic characteristics is carried out using finite element analysis software.The four structure layout schemes are evaluated comprehensively using fuzzy evaluation method,so as to obtain the optimal structure layout of the machine tool.Then,built a model of a typical CNC vertical grinder which has already been produced.The structure improvement of the whole machine and the important large parts are carried out,the static and dynamic characteristics of the original structure model and several improved structure models are analyzed using the finite element analysis software.Through the comparison of performance analysis data,the optimal structure improvement scheme is obtained.Finally,illustrates the structure and advantage of torque motor direct-drive internal feedback closed hydrostatic rotary worktable which is an important part module of vertical grinder.The principle and rigidity & flow calculation of internal feedback closed hydrostatic bearing is introduced.A test bench is built for performance testing,the composition of test bench and the rotary worktable’s performance testing process is introduced.
