Since the first report of Alivisatos' related work about quantum dots,materials of light-emitting on the field of biological imaging is becoming a hot spot.Upconversion nanoparticles(UCNPS)as a new generation of bio-luminescent markers have good light stability,good stability of chemistry etc.and near-infrared light is used to stimulate biological tissue without damage and no background fluorescence signal etc.So upconversion nanoparticles(UCNPS)own good prospects.We divide four chapters:First chapter,The outline of the new rare-earth nanomaterials.Outlining the rare-earth nanomaterials on the quale,the concept,the composition and the biological applications.Second chapter,the synthesis of the new rare-earth nanomaterials and optimization of conditions.the use of Solvothermal method to composite K2Ybo.97Er0.03F5/Er3+(PEG-400),NaYF4:Yb3+,Er3+ modified with carboxyl and KF-LaF3 modified with hydrophilic silica.Such three prepared hydrophilic nanoparticles has a lot of superiority with good dispersion,good water-soluble,greet imaging applications.Third chapter,The new upconversion rare-earth nanomaterials in vivo to realize fluorescence imaging visualization and detection of foreign objects in animal skin.We take use of asprepared rare-earth nanomaterials in the bodys of mice,achieving UCNPs' visualization fluorescence imaging in different parts of the mice.A certain amount of UCNPs doping concentration of Mn2+ can enhance ability of imaging in vivo.By using properties of hydrophilic and fluorescence UCNPs are injected into the subcutaneous tissue of chicken and mice to detect foreign objects in animal skin.Fourth chapter,based on principles of K2Yb0.97Er0.03F5/Er3+(PEG-400)we develop the portable device of rare-earth nanomaterials in the tag field.Under the condition of 980nm irradiation,asprepared rare-earth nanomaterial(K2Ybo.97Er0.03F5/Er3+(PEG-400))with properties of good fluorescence and good solubility in water has hydroxyl groups on the surface.We use these features to develop a new "rare-earth invisible ink" and made into a pen,which can be applied in the field of intelligence files,skin tags,etc.The chapter describes a rare-earth material hydrophilic fluorescent markers for filler,polyvinyl alcohol(PVA)temperature-sensitive hydrogel as the carrier to make Marking film of PVA hydroge.The ink can be also dissolved in use PVA glue to produce PVA Glue pen of rare-earth.Which can be applied in the field of pharmaceutical counterfeiting.
