Sulphobetaine is a kind of surfactant in the alkali/surfactant/polymer(ASP)flooding,Because of its excellent properties,it has been widely used in many fields.In order to monitor the reservoir development effect,evaluate Reservoir operation,provide an effective basis for the next step of tracking adjustment.Detect chemical residues in Oilfield Wastewater,provided a detection method for sewage treatment It is necessary to establish a set of scientific and complete standard for the determination of the concentration of chemical agents in the three-way recovery solution.The research methods of polymer and alkali were studied thoroughly at home and abroad.However,there are few reports on the quantitative analysis method of sulphobetaine in the ASP flooding.In this paper three methods for quantitative determination of type I sulphobetaine in the produced liquid were studied.In this study,the Oil-water emulsion in produced fluid was emulsified by adding ethanol,in the same way the polymer can be precipitated,then the ultraviolet spectrophotometry are used to establish a method: ?A method.Its ultraviolet spectrum shows that the characteristic absorption peak occured at 277 nm,connected the start point to the end of the characteristic absorption peak by a straight line and calculated the value ?A between the value on the peak and the value on the straight line.using this method to eliminate the influence of some uncertain factors,such as residual oil,residual polyacrylamide,suspended solids,etc.Using standard recovery test to evaluate the accuracy of this method.In this study,liquid chromatography mass spectrometry and liquid chromatography evaporative light scattering were established.As the same as the ?A method,the Oil-water emulsion and the polymer in produced fluid were disposed by adding ethanol.The BEH C18 Chromatographic column is used in stationary phase.When the mobile phase is water and methanol conditions investigate the effect of formic acid content in methanol on the sensitivity of the detector.Based on the principle of the best peak and the best separation to optimize the parameters of the equipment.According to the above optimization,quantitative analysis of type I sulphobetaine was carried out which fitted the relationship between the concentration of sulphobetaine and the detector's response.The recovery test of sample recovery rate was carried out to verify the accuracy and stability of the method.
