NC machine tool is the major energy c onsuming equipment in modern manufacturing and processing.The power source of the machine tool is more complex in the machining stage and energy dissipation components,the impact on the environment,99% of the electricity consumption from the process.In order to reduce the energy consumption of the machining process,optimize the process parameters,choose the better scheme of machine tool in practical machining,and finally reduce the energy consumption of CNC machine tools,The effective way to solve this problem is to build energy consumption model of energy consumption prediction accuracy of machine tool in processing.This article is based on a large number of domestic and foreign literature,it is clear about the research status of energy consumpti on model and energy consumption calculation model for NC machine tools.Comprehensive analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of comparison,the power balance equation and energy consumption model are established for a specific CNC milling machine,prediction of energy consumption in the process of NC milling machine with a set of machining process and machining parameters.It can simulate and optimize the machining parameters,and finally analyze the calculation results of milling machine energy consu mptionAnalysis of multi source energy flow and energy consumption in NC machining,the energy consumption of NC machining process could be divided into three parts: fixed energy consumption,no-load energy consumption and milling energy consumption.The power balance equation and energy consumption estimation model estimation model was proposed.Based on Master CAM software,VERICUT simulation software and VB,the paper presents a method to predict the energy consumption of CNC machine tools.Using Master CAM software for the construction of parts model,calculating the tool path,and finally generating the NC machining program;VERICUT software is used to simulate and optimize the NC machining program to obtain a better processing scheme;Write VB program to read the NC machining code in different processing parameters,calculation results of energy consumption based on the energy consumption calculation model.The experimental results show that the energy consumption model is correct and the energy consumption is calculated by the elliptical groove.Comprehensive use of the results of each method,on the basis of simulation optimization of the process parameters,the energy consumption of milling in the CNC milling process is predicted.Comparative analysis of energy consumption results in a timely manner to adjust the processing plan,it provides a theoretical basis for the optimization of milling energy consumption in NC milling process,and also provides a feasible method for the compreh ensive analysis of the energy consumption of the machine tool.
