Stony desertification is a common phenomenon of land degradation in the area of Cameroon,which is difficult to recover once it appears.To find out the evolution law of“enshi"stony desertification,this study selected the five phase satellite remote sensing image,respectively,from may to October each year during vegetation characteristics significantly,cloud cover is less than 6 Lands at 5 and Landsat 7-8 satellite images and 1 radian of SRTM dem data and profile map of Cameroon period.Radiometric correction and geometric correction preprocessing for remote sensing images are also carried out,which is to determine the shadow and the clo uds in remote sensing image position,and this part of the image is marked as incorrect image that data is missing,it is do not participate in the extraction of desertification index and the rate of exposed bedrock;The missing area data are treated by Kriging in geostatistics,and the data is reduced to be one of the criteria for the classification of stony desertification.At the same time,combined with the actual survey ground based and a large number of previous research results,it can be divided into fo ur grades,no rocky desertification,slight stony desertification,moderate desertification and severe stony desertification.A distribution map of rocky desertification in Enshi was formed in 2005,2007,2009,2011 and 2013,The application of grey model GM(1,1)established a mild stony desertification,moderate desertification and severe stony desertification research model,development coefficient of light stony desertification and desertification were 0.1346 and 0.1349,which can be used for medium and lo ng term forecasting,The residual test and the back difference test of the model are carried out,and the result is a good model.Therefore,the prediction verification in 2015 has been carried out.The accuracy is 90.26%,which can meet the requirement of prediction accuracy,This research process and conclusions can provide scientific reference and decision-making for the control of stony desertification in Enshi,and can better promote and promote the process of stony desertification control in Enshi city.
