As emerging nanomaterials,graphene a new type of two-dimensional atomic crystal,an single atomic layer made of carbon atoms with sp2 hybridization connection.It has many superiority,such as excellent electrical,mechanical,thermal,optical properties and large specific surface area.And this makes the graphene become the ideal carrier for nanoparticles.Graphene has shown enormous potential applications in various high-technique fields,such as optoelectronics,energy and catalysis as well as biomedicine.Based on the research of the graphene material,this paper studied the functionalization of graphene materials,to explore catalytic reaction with the graphene as the carrier.In this paper,a series of functionalizated graphene materials with copper palladium were synthesized,and applied to the Suzuki coupling reaction of halogenated hydrocarbon.By using high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC)and gas chromatography,the catalytic activity was evaluated.The results proved that the graphene materials have superior efficiency and selectivity.The main research contents and results are as follows:(i)Through the improved Hummers method,we chose two kinds of approaches to the preparation of graphene oxide(GO).Based on the characterization of morphology,Selecting the appropriate preparation,we get the graphene oxide with lattice defects which has very good dispersion in water.(ii)Exploring the preparation route of functionalizated graphene,we chose to two kinds of methods for the preparation of path: one is adding the hydrazine hydrate as reductant under the alkaline conditions,the other is adding ethylene glycol as solvent to reduct the GO.The experiment prove that we obtained more uniform and dense graphene materials which have high catalytic activity and particle adhesion.(iii)These synthesized catalysts were investigated in reduction of bromobenzene.Under the most suitable reaction condition,heated 80 oC and added the catalysts,reaction system showed a good catalytic activity of coupling reaction in a mixture of ethanol and water solution(ethanol: water=1:1).In addition,choosing the bromobenzene and benzene boric acid as a model reaction,we researched and selected reaction condition of experiment.We find that the radio of the Pd/Cu is the most factor for the efficiency of the experiment.When the radio is 1:1,the experiment had the highest efficiency,getting to >99.9%.(iv)Using different halogenated hydrocarbon in the Suzuki coupling reaction,we found that the preparation of functionalizated graphene has very superior efficiency and selectivity.The conversion rate of halogenated hydrocarbon is over 90%,and the biphenyl compounds selectivity is over 95%,having excellent catalytic applicability.(v)Considering various factors,we selected bromobenzene as the model test to discuss the recycling of catalyst efficiency.Catalyst separated from reaction system through the centrifugal,washing with ethanol and water several times.Circulation after six times,the yield of coupling reaction remains at more than 95%.
