Nano-particle epoxy resin composites are widely used in the field of electrical insulation.To study nanoparticle dispersion,mass fraction on the dielectric properties of SiO2/epoxy composite effect.In this paper,the Ultrasonic Dispersion Method,Sol-gel Method and High-speed Mixer Method in three methods,were prepared by nano-SiO2 mass fraction of nano-SiO2/epoxy resin composites with 1wt%,2wt%,3wt% and 4wt% and on the dispersion of nanoparticles in the composite were characterized quantitatively,test the SiO2/epoxy nano-composites characteristics of dielectric spectroscopy,corona resistant characteristics and breakdown characteristics.In nano-SiO2 content is 3wt% to obtain based on three kinds of preparation methods of nano-SiO2/epoxy resin composites with the Transmission Electron Microscope(TEM)images,and the use of Image J?;parameters of image feature extraction,and use the Quadra based Skewness,the Quadra based Morisita’s Index and the Nearest distance were also used to analyze the nano-SiO2 particles dispersion.The results show that using high-speed mixer to prepare the nano-SiO2/epoxy resin composite nano-SiO2 dispersed best.Dielectric experiments of samples found that nano-SiO2/epoxy resin composites than the pure epoxy resin material of the dielectric constant,dielectric loss increased,breakdown field strength increased,corona resistant performance is enhanced.With the increase of the content of nano-SiO2,three kinds of preparation methods of nano-composite dielectric constant were increased in the mass fraction of SiO2 is 3wt% reached the maximum,and then decreased;dielectric loss increases;breakdown field strength increases,in the mass fraction of SiO2 is 3wt% reached the maximum,and then fall down;corona resistantperformance enhancement.The results show that the dispersion of nanoparticles is better,the smaller the dielectric constant of the composites,the better the breakdown performance,and the stronger corona resistance.
