Dummy axis Angle to transform quickly, small output torque as the main characteristics, good static precision machining precision will appear under the condition of larger error. This paper is based on the dummy axis structure research,exploration, based on the dummy axis precision testing and optimization of manufacturing plan, work out a series of 3 RPS dummy axis space for error detection and compensation scheme, in the production practice verification, to compensation of error control within 0.03 mm, can effectively enhance the dummy axis machining accuracy.In the early stage of the study, the author read a lot documents about the dynamic accuracy testing and dummy axis, ultimately successful completed a dummy axis dynamic accuracy testing. The main research content includes two parts:1, the design of the dummy axis dynamic accuracy testing and detection tools.Firstly,research the mechanical structure of the dummy axis, parts, siemens numerical control system parameters, the dynamic precision of the detection mechanism, and spatial accuracy compensation technology and non-contact measurement for analysis,on this basis, the design of the detailed process and scheme of dummy axis precision detection, and dynamic accuracy testing tools(patent No. ZL201520651265.8). Also designed a space with torque accuracy detection method, can in precision detection with torque simulation processing, access to the most close to the actual machining precision values, make the dummy axis dynamic accuracy test results more accurate. The technology applied for two patents, published three papers.2, study of dummy axis dynamic accuracy compensation scheme, mainly on the dummy axis based on the results of detection precision, using Siemens numerical control system to compensate the dynamic precision of the dummy axis, validation. In this paper, through the method to map the dummy axis detection blind area on the map compensation, make the dummy axis space accuracy obtained within the scope of compensation. On this basis, the three axes of three-dimensional surface, formed the 5 *5*5 square space stereo compensation scheme, depend on SIEMENS secondary development。.This article also through s-shaped try cut into pieces cut results demonstrated that the dummy axis dynamic accuracy test results and compensation as a result, can be used with the actual production. Also found in trial cut, processing scheme, cutting tool, the temperature of the dummy axis practical application has some influence, the subsequent will further to do further research on temperature, processing solution.
