| Taihu Lake,the second largest fresh water lake in China,is located in the southern margin of the Yangtze River delta.The social economy developed at the cost of ecological function descend in Lake Taihu during last several decades.Degeneration of lakeside zone ecosystem tend to cause deterioration of lakeside microclimate and descent of ecological function,which in turn affect lake ecological security.This paper is supported by the national science and technology major project "Comprehension and integration of water environmental improvement project in Taihu Basin" The study selects lakeside zone of Taihu Lake as study object,aiming for protecting and improving the eco-environment.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)The water quality of Taihu Lake in spring is better than that in summer and autumn.In spring,the general water quality level is better than IV class while it is inferior to V class in partial sampling points in summer and autumn.The main pollutant contributors remain as TP and TN.(2)The contents of TN,TP and OM in the sediments of Taihu Lake in summer is higher than that in spring and autumn.(3)In spring,the content of water quality indexes are relatively low and among these indexes had no obvious connection.In summer and autumn,the water quality of Taihu Lake dramatically deteriorate,and the correlation of each water quality index is stronger.(4)The Lakeside zone with inside land shows stronger self-repair and maintenance capacity than the lakeside zone without inside land.(5)About 31 species of plants belonging to 24 genera and 30 families were collected from the investigation along the Taihu Lakeside zone,of which there were about 7 dominant species in total,including 3 dominant species of riparian plants,2 dominant species of emergent plants and 2 dominant species of submerge plants.(6)2015 Taihu lakeside regional ecosystem health index ranking as following:Gonghu Lake,East Taihu,Zhushan Bay,South bank,Wulihu Lake,West bank and Meiliang bay. |
