| Traffic pollution has been concerned since it appeared. After develop rapidly for several decades, china is facing serious pollution problems. When the term pm2.5 appears in the public awareness, air pollution problem has become a hot issue quickly. As an important source of air pollution in the city, the traffic pollution has always been the point that researchers focus on. In the current studies, lots of attention is focused on the diffusion of pollutants in urban space but few research on the influence that pollution effect on indoor air especially roadside buildings. At present, the green building with passive technology such as natural ventilation is encouraged in China. So it is important to study on the influence of urban traffic pollution on indoor air. And it is even more important to find the design strategies for reducing the impact of traffic pollution on indoor air quality. Therefore, in this study, first, try to establish a method that based on indoor and outdoor coupling simulation to evaluate the influence of traffic pollution on the indoor air quality of roadside buildings. Second, the correctness of the simulation method was verified by comparing the results from numerical simulation with the results of field measurement. Third, explore design strategy to alleviate the effect of urban traffic pollution to the indoor air quality of roadside buildings. |
