The development direction of "low carbon economy" has put forward higher request of automotive industry,which requests the tire low emission based on high performance.In order to accommodate the development concept,we exploited a new type of rubber-polybutadiene with high vinyl content(HVPBR).It possessed excellent wet skid resistance,low compression heat generation and good aging resistance.So compared with other elastomers,when used in tyre tread,the energy consumption is more lower,which is in accordance with the developed concept of "low-carbon economy".First silica/carbon black reinforcing and filling system was chosen,the influence of the dosage of white carbon black,silane coupling agent Si-69 and carbon black varieties on the properties of 1,2-PBR was researched.The results showed that when the ratio of N234/N330/silica was 10/20/20,the 1,2-PBR vulcanizates possessed longer life expectancy,low rolling resistance and low heat generation,excellent high performance when used in tire tread.The vulcanizates had high tanδ at the temperature of 0℃,which showed that it had high wet skid resistance,excellent wet traction performance and wet operating performance.The vulcanizates possessed excellent comprehensive properties.According to the tire tread formulation of pure SBR,ESBR1502 partly replaced with 1,2-PBR and adjusted the variety of the carbon black,the vulcanization characteristic,the mechanical properties of vulcanized rubbers and the dynamic mechanical properties were studied.It showed that when the ratio of SBR/1,2-PBR was 80/20,the tensile strengh of the vulcanizates filled with carbon black N375 and N234 was similar to SBR,but the tanδ at 0℃ was higher,which showed that it had high wet skid resistance,excellent wet traction performance and wet operating performance.The tanδ at 60 and 80℃ was low,which had low heat generation and high wet skid resistance.The excellent comprehensive properties made the vulcanizates have long life expectancy,low rolling resistance,low heat generation,high speed performance and ride comfort,which could be used as the ideal tread materials.Additionally,according to the formulation of the car tire tread,SBR or BR9000 partly replaced with 1,2-PBR,the influence of 1,2-PBR amount on the property of the blends was studied.The result showed that when SBR1500 partly replaced with 1,2-PBR of 5 phr or SBR1712 partly replaced with 1,2-PBR of 10 phr,it had the highest tensile strengh,the tensile strengh at 300%,tear strengh and elongation break.Besides,it had low DIN abrasion and showed high wet skid resistance,low heat generation,low rolling resistance,good aging resistance and flexing fatigue property.
