Oil as a non-renewable resource,got more and more attention in today’ssociety.In order to enhance oil recovery rate,many oil fields have entered into a stage of Enhanced oil recovery.Polymer flooding in Enhanced oil recovery plays an important role.HPAM as at present the most widely used in Enhanced oil recovery,has certain defects.Poor heat-resistant and salt-tolerant all restricts the use of HPAM.In order to enhance the heat-resistant and salt-tolerant quality of the HPAM,we synthesized the copolymer and terpolymer.The Experiments results indicated:(1)The synthesis of copolymer.The copolymer had high apparent viscosity when the initiation was(NH4)2S2O8/NaHSO2CH2OH,the concentration of monomer was 25%,mass radio of AMPS to AM equaled 4:6,the concentration of initiator in monomer was 0.09%,mass radio of(NH4)2S2O8 to NaHSO2CH2OH was 4:1,pH was 6,the reaction temperature was 20℃.The molecular weight was 8.27×10~7,the monomer conversion was 74.6%,the solid content was 83.49%.The copolymer of AM/AMPS has high quality in solubility and thermal stability.In the experiment of shear resistance,after 11 hours,the copolymer viscosity retention rate was 81.3%.While the HPAM viscosity retention rate was 41.2%.(2)The synthesis of terpolymer.On the condition of copolymer,we use SSS、DMAEMA and SDS as the third monomer to synthetic copolymer.6:4:0.1、6:4:0.2 and 6:4:0.2 was the best proportion AM/AMPS/SSS、AM/AMPS/DMAEMA and AM/AMPS/SDS.The quality of heat-resistant and salt-tolerant was AM/AMPS/DMAEMA>AM/AMPS/SSS>AM/AMPS/SDS>AM/AMPA>HPAM.
